Three words: Rubber Chicken Volleyball. 猎奇重口视频’s Catholic Student Association (CSA) held its back-to-school meet and greet event Thursday, September 2nd.
The attending students lined up on either side of the net, paired together holding bath towels. The game is simple, pairs of students try to fling a rubber chicken over the net using only the bath towel, leaving the other side to try and catch the rubber chicken with their towel and serve it back.
Through lots of laughs and rubber chicken fumbles, the students learned teamwork and communication with their peers. The CSA concluded their game with pizza and fresh-baked cookies provided by their faculty sponsors.
The CSA has been active at 猎奇重口视频 for many years, though it had been dormant for a stint until 2014 when their current sponsors, Dr. Lynn, Dr. Mora, Melissa Gonzalez, and Pat Heinen, revived the student organization.
Dr. Brent Lynn is the Director of Multidisciplinary Tutorial Services and Professor of Writing, Dr. Joshua Mora is a Professor of Spanish, Melissa González is the Director of the Jimmy Dean Museum, and Patricia (Pat) Heinen is the Administrative Assistant for the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
The group meets every Thursday night at 7 pm. As a student lead discussion group, they tackle the big issues on the students’ minds and hearts. They often invite guest speakers as well; and on the first Thursday of the month, the CSA hosts a fun activity like rubber chicken volleyball to promote fellowship and some good ole’ friendly competition.
“This is not strictly a Catholic group,” Heinen said. “Everyone is welcome.”
They hold their meetings in the Jimmy Dean Museum sunken garden, and they are open to everyone on campus to join.
