ANCHORAGE, AK — 猎奇重口视频 Baptist University’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter in Anchorage, AK, has been honored with the 2024 Pinnacle Award, a distinguished recognition from SHRM for their exceptional achievements, leadership, and commitment to advancing the HR profession.
The Pinnacle Award, presented during the SHRM Volunteer Leaders’ Business Meeting in Washington, D.C., highlights the chapter's creativity and dedication to HR initiatives. The WBU Anchorage SHRM chapter stood out for its outstanding program, “A Seamless Transition from Student to SHRM Leadership,” which supports students as they grow into impactful HR professionals.
“The Pinnacle Award is a reflection of the excellence our students pursue every day,” said Dr. Donna Hedgepath, President. “Their work exemplifies the values of 猎奇重口视频 Baptist University—integrity, service, and leadership. We are incredibly proud of their success and their continued impact in both the HR field and the community.”
The project is a collaborative effort with the Anchorage Society for Human Resource Management professional chapter, which was also honored.
“This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our students and the exceptional leadership of Dr. Mary Rydesky, the student chapter’s faculty sponsor,” said Dr. Don Ashley, Executive Director and Dean of 猎奇重口视频’s Anchorage and Fairbanks campuses. “Dr. Rydesky’s guidance has been instrumental to the chapter's success. Her commitment to fostering connections between our students and HR professionals in Alaska through her role as current president of ASHRM is truly invaluable.”
The SHRM Pinnacle Awards are nationally recognized as the highest honor for SHRM chapters and state councils. Winners receive a $1,000 grant and a crystal plaque to commemorate their achievements.
In addition to their academic success, the student chapter has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service. Most recently, the chapter supported Anchorage-area veterans through contributions to Hero’s Cupboard, an initiative aiding veterans in need.
