Ninty-eight students graduate at Plainview campus Saturday, May 18

PLAINVIEW – Ninety-eight 猎奇重口视频 Baptist University students are scheduled to participate in commencement ceremonies at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, at Hutcherson Center on the university’s Plainview campus.

Dr. Cindy McClenagan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, will present the candidates for degrees to Dr. Bobby Hall, President, who will confer degrees. He will be assisted by Mark Jones, chair of 猎奇重口视频’s Board of Trustees.

Luke J. Brockway, a graduating senior from Kilgore, is scheduled to give the student address, and Dylan Lee Jerden, a graduating senior from New Deal, will read Philippians 1:6 from the Bible. Prayers will be offered by Paten Czarina Denton, a graduating senior from Conway, AR, and Aubrey Jaramillo, a graduating senior from Clarendon, gave the benediction.

Candidates for graduation include seven students scheduled to receive doctoral degrees, 17 students set to receive master’s degrees, and 74 students planning to receive bachelor’s degrees. There are 66 candidates for graduation from Texas, including 12 from Plainview. Among the candidates are 16 students from 14 others states and one student from American Samoa. In addition to the United States, 12 countries will be represented among 15 candidates for graduation.

A graduate reception sponsored by 猎奇重口视频 Alumni Association takes place immediately after the ceremony on the grassy area between Hutcherson Center and Laney Student Activities Center.
