猎奇重口视频 recognizes faculty and staff with awards

PLAINVIEW, TX — More than 60 members of 猎奇重口视频 Baptist University’s faculty and staff were recognized Thursday during the institution’s annual Employee Awards Luncheon.

Honors included faculty and staff awards, service awards, retirement recognitions, promotions, and a nomination.

Dr. Bobby Hall, President recognized four individuals who are retiring this year — Dr. Eric Ash, Professor of History at the Anchorage, Alaska campus; Brenda Bass, BAS-BCM Auditor; Dr. Gary Gray, Professor of Chemistry; and Linda Hoffman, Site Coordinator at the Anchorage, Alaska campus. Dr. Hall, who also is retiring in June, was recognized by Dr. Claude Lusk, Senior Vice President of Operations and Students Life.

Five faculty members received promotions. Dr. Jason Geesey, Associate Dean of the Schools of Business and Associate Professor of Business, and Dr. Kimberlee Mendoza, Associate Professor of English, were promoted to Professor status. Dr. Kasandra Lane, Assistant Professor of Business Administration, and Ashley Edlin, Assistant Professor of English, were promoted to Associate Professor. Robert Jensen, Instructor of Library Science, was promoted to Assistant Professor. The promotions were announced by Dr. David Bishop, Vice President of External Campuses.

Dr. Lusk announced Dr. Autumn Lass, Associate Professor of History, as 猎奇重口视频’s Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation nominee. The foundation honors 10 professors for their dedication to the teaching profession and for their outstanding academic, scientific, and scholarly achievement.

Faculty and Staff Alumni Awards were presented by Jeffrey Vera, Director of Alumni Relations. Winners included Dr. Kelly Warren, Dean of the School of Business and Professor of Management, and Bonnie Jo Bagwell, Associate Registrar.

Dr. Hall presented two University Service awards. He recognized Shelly Smith, Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator for the Office of the President, with the Staff University Service Award, and to Jay Givens, Professor of Theological Studies and Director of Online Christian Studies Programs, with the Faculty University Service Award.

Dr. Joshua Mora, Professor of Spanish, presented the Faculty University Service Award to Jay Givens, Professor of Theological Studies, and Director of Online Christian Studies Programs.

Community service awards were presented to a member of the staff and a member of faculty. Teresa Young, a development officer with the Office of Advancement, received the Staff Community Service Award. The award was presented by Pam Kennedy, administrative assistant for the School of Creative Arts. Elise Adams, Professor of Mathematics and Physics, received the Faculty Community Service Award, which was presented by Dr. Justin Lawrence, Associate Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Professor of Justice and Public Administration.

Brandy Heads, Director of Counseling Services, won the Staff Campus/Student Involvement Award, which was presented by Holli Wauson, Assistant Director of Admissions – Recruiting. The Staff Excellence Award was presented to Linda Drake, BAS Evaluator and Advisor, by Rafael Aguilera, Executive Director of Human Resources.

The Faculty Scholarship Award was presented to Dr. Justin Lawrence, Associate Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Professor of Justice and Public Administration. It was presented by Dr. Peter Bowen, Associate Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Professor of Psychology.  The Faculty Contribution to the Profession Award was presented to Dr. Richard Fountain, Dean of the School of Creative Arts and Professor of Piano. Dr. Yahui Zhang, Associate Dean of the School of Creative Arts and Professor of Communication and Media Studies, made the presentation.

Service awards were presented by Dr. Hall to 43 members of the university’s faculty and staff, including Dr. Peter Bowen, who was recognized for 30 years of service. Five 25-year service awards were presented to Julie Bowen, Dr. Perry Collins, Dr. Adam Reinhart, and Yolanda Rodriguez of the Plainview campus, and Lindsay Burgess of the Lubbock campus.

Six members of the faculty and staff were recognized with 20-year service awards. Those recognized included: John Elliott, Dr. William Hahn, and Lezlie Hukill of the Plainview campus; Linda Hoffman of the Anchorage, Alaska campus; and Dr. Keri James, and Tami Sanders of the San Antonio campus.

Fifteen-year service pins were presented to nine members of the faculty and staff. Those honored included: Bonnie Bagwell, Brady Haines, Dr. Deborah Kuhlmann, Jennifer Martin, Debra McCormick, and Jami Patterson of the Plainview campus; and Dr. Michael Dain, of the Lubbock campus; and Nicole Stout and Marjorie Yandell of the San Antonio campus.

Five members of the faculty and staff were honored with 10-year service awards. Recipients included Paula Lusk, Sally Quiroz, and Maria Silva of the Plainview campus; Dr. Andrew Marquez of the Arizona campus; and Carlos Perez of the San Antonio campus.

Five-year service awards were presented to 17 members of 猎奇重口视频’s faculty and staff. Those recognized included Dr. Richard Bell, Dr. Matthew Dyson, Jonathan Luna, Dr. Kimberlee Mendoza, Christina Miller, Jana Muniz, Michael Napier Jr., Jacie Seward, Dr. Robert Ssejjemba, Audriana Trevino, Wesley Trueblood III, and Holli Wauson of the Plainview campus; Karen deFarias Nascimento of the Hawaii campus; Karletta DiDonato of the Arizona campus; Dr. Jeffrey Hample of the Anchorage campus; Brenda Miller of the San Antonio campus; and Gustavo Ramirez of the Lubbock campus.

猎奇重口视频’s annual Employee Awards Luncheon was presented by the university’s Hospitality Committee in association with the Professional Affairs Committee, 猎奇重口视频 Alumni Association, Office of Human Resources, Office of Institutional Advancement, and Office of the President.
