NEW BRAUNFELS – The School of Nursing at 猎奇重口视频 Baptist University is celebrating a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-RN licensure exam for the May 2021 graduating class.
The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is designed to test nursing students’ applicable knowledge and critical thinking skills in order to make proper judgements in nursing and healthcare situations. The course is required for licensure as a registered nurse. The Texas Board of Nursing requires nursing schools in the state of Texas to maintain an 80% pass rate or higher on students’ first attempts at the exam.
According to the Dean of the School of Nursing at 猎奇重口视频, Dr. Diane Frazor, a 100% pass rate is difficult to achieve.
“The NCLEX is the licensure exam necessary for our graduates to be able to practice nursing as a registered nurse,” Frazor said. “If they don’t pass the exam, they must take it again and they can’t practice nursing until they pass it an obtain licensure.”
Frazor gave credit not only to the students, but also to the dedicated faculty who worked diligently to prepare students for the exam. The NCLEX pass rate is measured each calendar year involving multiple graduating classes. Frazor said WBU will try for the 100% pass rating this year, but even if that isn’t possible, the overall rating will be very strong. 猎奇重口视频 graduates two nursing cohorts each year with the next one scheduled for October.
