Doctor of Management

Overview

The WBU School of Business offers The Doctor of Management (D.Mgt) as a unique and comprehensive program that prepares leaders to make a significant impact within their organizations, all while keeping a Christian perspective in mind. This program is a rare opportunity to gain a deep understanding of leadership and management in various sectors, including profit, not-for-profit, military, government, private, and public. It equips leaders to strategize and analyze organizational issues and dilemmas that affect performance and well-being, making them a valuable asset in any organizational structure.

The Doctor of Management program is a cohort-based model, offering a unique blend of collaboration and individual learning. It is designed to fit into your busy schedule, as it is completely online. The coursework, which includes 60 hours, with four (4) dissertation courses, allows you to delve deep into your research and report your findings. Upon graduation, you will earn two executive certificates, further enhancing your credentials.

Many of our graduates have presented their findings at prestigious conferences, and some have even leveraged their programs to become faculty at the university level.

Executive Certificates

Do you want to earn credentials while testing the waters in doctoral studies?

The School of Business also offers two Executive Certificates (Executive Management and Leadership and Executive Human Resource Management and Development). Students who earn certificates and later decide to join a WBU Doctor of Management cohort may have these courses transferred into their program of study. Additionally, students currently enrolled in the WBU Doctor of Management Program may request an executive certificate at no additional cost once the required courses for each certificate have been completed. Contact the Program Director for the form needed to initiate the request.

Bachelor to Doctor of Management Program

This program is one of a kind in the marketplace. You will not find another one like it. We designed it for students with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. We have designed the program so that in the first year, you would complete the core Master’s level coursework and then move immediately into the Doctor of Management curriculum. The program, from start to finish, is comprised of 84 credit hours (far less than first completing a separate Master’s degree and then starting a doctoral program) and can be completed in as little as three years.
